We've been obsessing over AI lately...who hasn't? In addition to hosting our very own AI hackathon, we're also helping a few clients build AI products.
Here are five cool things you can do with AI.
If you're into photo editing, Adobe's Project Stardust is a generative AI-powered object-aware editing engine. You can select people in a photograph, move them to a different place in the composition, and fill in the background where they previously stood. 🤯
Users can also change elements like the color of a person’s clothing or their position—treating flat images like a file with layers.
Real-time AI conversations with PlayHT, a text-to-speech model with a latency of less than 300ms. You can use this technology to create ultra-realistic Text-to-speech (TTS) using the AI Voice Generator. Voice AI instantly converts text into natural-sounding humanlike voice performances across languages and accents.
X user @dr_cintas plays around with how fast it outputs audio.
He even cloned his voice with PlayHT, claiming, "...it generated English audios with a better accent than myself!
@dr_cintas (follow him; he has rad AI tutorials) also clued us in on how he got DALL•E 3 and GPT-4 to code this game using DALL•E 3 for all the graphics and GPT-4 for all the coding. Here's the tweet thread with his prompts and process.
You can now input an image with instructions into GPT-4 and receive a structured answer. This can be anything from asking GPT-4 to understand the context of an image to analyzing data shown in a graph.
A practical application for this power is to use it to learn a new tool. You can upload a picture of the tool dashboard to GPT-4 and let it give you a tutorial. X user, @ShekOMP, wanted some help with Photoshop.
He also let GPT-4 act as a UI tester and provide feedback... the AI recommended: " Tooltip on Hover: When hovering over icons (bell, gear, plus), tooltips can provide a brief descriptor of the icon's function."
And finally, if you need another reason to spend HOURS online....asking DALL-E3 for diagrams of complicated things is highly addictive. It's essentially nonsense, but with glimmers of accuracy. (Source)

Have a great week!
